Program of Hansen's Disease
The Sanatorium of Agua de Dios E.S.E. in establishing primary care intervention on the search, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of Hansen's disease through the work of the interdisciplinary team, with the criteria established by law, taking into account the contributions offered by institutions with which have an agreement.
General Objetive
Timely detection of patients with Hansen's disease, providing an appropriate comprehensive treatment to reduce the consequences and contributing to elimination strategies proposed by OMS.
Specific Objetives
- Multidrug therapy provide 100% of patients enrolled in the program.
- Conduct active case finding in high-risk groups and the general community.
Activities of the program in the Social Security System in Health in primary care as Hansen's disease care model and its impact on the development of promotion and prevention activities.
